Clark Sophomore Ryan Estes did something no other Clark Cougar has ever done in school history, qualify for the State Cross Country Meet.  This past Saturday November 2nd, Ryan Estes Ran a 16:30.97 to finish 13th at the Division 2 Regional Cross Country Championships at Troy High School.  The top 16 runners qualified for the State Meet.  Ryan will run in the Division 2 State Championship Race this Saturday November 2nd 2:15pm at National Trail Raceway near Columbus.

The Clark Cougars had 8 athletes run in the Regional Meet at Troy High School.  Senior Lily Marrero was the sole qualifier for the Lady Cougars team.  Lily ran a 20:54 to earn a spot in the top 50th.  Her cross country career ends as one of the most successful Lady Cougar runners in school history.  Lily was a 3-time 1st MVC All-League & 2-Time Regional Qualifier.

The Cougar boys had an entire team of 7 runners participate in the Regional Meet for the 2nd year in a row.  The boys team featured Ryan Estes, Jason Jarrold-Grapes, Harry Murphy, Chris Canty, JD Ray, Ben Hammond, & Sam Colston.  The team finished 10th out of 16 teams,  but return their entire MVC Championship Team for the 2016 season as they hope to qualify their entire team to State.
